Technically not a tool, Salesforce has a built-in data export functionality that comes with all its editions, mainly for taking backups.
You can use the data import wizard for up to 50,000 records - while it is useful for small enterprises, this can be limiting when analyzing large volumes of data.
Most notably, you can only export data from Salesforce only once in 29 days (with Professional Edition and Developer Edition) and once in 7 days for the other editions, using this function.
To use the function, login to your Salesforce account and go to Setup -> Data -> Data Export.
